COM.EX.IM. is an Italian company leader in the trading of cocoa beans and cocoa semi-finished products.
Created in 1986 and still headquartered in Genova.
COM.EX.IM. acts as a brokerage firm with expertise in the production and marketing of raw materials for the confectionery industry.
We have contacts with the best European manufacturers in the sector and with countries of origin where, in recent years, many production companies were born.
Our clients are exclusively Italian and currently we serve about 70 industries with an annual handling of about 25,000 mt.
We care not only of the link between producers and consumers but also of deliveries, fixing of the open price ctrs with a constant analysis of the London and New York cocoa Stock Exchange. We also help customers with all the necessary certifications as full traceability of raw materials, the 'absence of GMOs, allergens, gluten and Ionizing Radiation.
We bring our experience in business development and sales to support the Italian confectionery tradition and at the same time, the launch of new products that can be successful around the world.

Our company is family owned and was founded by Gianfranco Piano after 15 years of experience in the field of trading of coffee before and after cocoa.
In January 2003 his son Alessandro joined the company immediately after a Degree in Food Chemical Engineering with a thesis in the Netherlands on cocoa processing and production of butter and cocoa powder.

After 25 years of excellent relations with top European manufacturers and the largest and most famous italian industries we are today able to meet virtually every need being in contact with all sources for cocoa beans.
In the field of cocoa products, we can offer for your production natural and alkalized cocoa powder, cocoa mass and cocoa butter, natural and / or deodorized.
A side dish of all this we also have contacts with Turkey for hazelnuts and almonds with the U.S..
